Trinket Heals

Trinket has been trained since a foal as a therapy horse .

She literally followed her mini horse mother into homes, hospitals and hospice to visit with folks.

She can meet with people in group areas or share time in private rooms for more intimate 1-on-1 encounters. All are welcome and encouraged to touch her extremely soft and beautiful pinto colored coat but she can meet at a little distance too. She is much like us in her tolerance of stress - some days are better than others! So, we keep a close eye on her during visits. Typically we will take short breaks every 20-30 minutes, but sometimes she doesn't need them at all. 

Trinket has never pooped during a visit but we cannot give 100% guarantee. Please rest assured we have a "No-poop-left-behind" policy and come prepared for unexpected "happenings!"

A few facts about Trinket:

• She is 10 years old. She is a micro-miniature horse measuring just 24" to her withers. She wears special booties to give her extra grip on indoor surfaces (and leave the barn in the barn.)
• We ask for a $100 donation per visit to support

Trinket's Therapy-Life-Purpose.

Donations serve to pay for:

• A Bale of Hay = $10
• A Salt Lick = $10  (She loves Salt!)
• A Bag of Grain = $30
• Farrier Visit = $40
• Tank of Gas = $25
• Insurance = $650 / Annually

Typically we video or photograph Trinket's therapy adventures which we are happy to share with you for your own purposes, marketing etc. (Most folks consider this huge Value Added - since Alistair is a professional Photographer/Videographer.)
